Reaching Kantishna Roadhouse is an unforgettable journey in itself. We have partnered with Denali Air to provide flight service to our lodge, taking you on a scenic 55-minute flight over the Alaska Range. Witness the vast expanse of wilderness that is Denali National Park before you even touch down.

The price of your round trip flight from Denali Air to Kantishna is included in your package price, and our staff will book your flights.

 

• Inbound Flight (55 Minutes): Includes a scenic fly-by of Denali and the Alaska Range, weather permitting.
• Outbound Flight (35 Minutes): A direct, 35 minute flight will return you to the park entrance.
• Flight Schedules:
  
  • Departs Denali Air to Lodge: 9:15am, 12:00pm and 2:30pm.
  • Departs Lodge to Denali Air: 10:40am, 1:25pm and 3:45pm.
• Location & Parking: Denali Air operates from their own private airstrip located at Mile 229.5 of the Parks Highway known as “Denali Private”. If you are driving to Denali Air, there is parking available at no charge.
• Local Transfers: If you require local shuttle transportation to & from Denali Air, we recommend Denali Transportation Services. Call (907) 522-5820 to book directly with them.

Flights will be aboard small, 5-passenger aircraft that are limited to carrying 1,000 pounds.

• Strict 25 lb Luggage Limit: Each guest will be allowed one 25 pound, soft-sided, duffel-style bag. Bags will be weighed before they are loaded onto the aircraft so please pack thoughtfully.
• Free Luggage Storage: If you are traveling with larger bags, we will be able to store them for you while you are in Kantishna.
• Passenger Weigh-Ins: We will be asking you for your weight (fully clothed with footwear) at the time of booking. Each passenger will be required to step on the scale at Denali Air upon check-in, just to verify.
